Shipping and Handling Time

Larger, fragile, and one-off items can require more time and care to ensure that they arrive at their destination safely. Please consider any extra time that may be necessary for these types of items.

Pickup Times

Carrier and Seller agree to a pickup-time. This can vary, depending on location and could account for an extended lead time being quoted to allow the seller time to prepare the item to your specifications. See Production time.

Packing

The carrier has responsibility for packing your item. Fragile items (glass, ceramics, porcelain, marble) are crated and may be packed in foam or blankets for additional protection.

Transportation

Items are shipped with the utmost care and with precautions against damage. See Shipping Methods.

Scheduling a Deliveries

For large items a signature is required upon delivery. You will be contacted by the carrier 24 to 48 hours before the delivery date to schedule a convenient drop-off time, usually with a window of 2 to 4 hours. If your item has been shipped internationally, the carrier may also request personal information necessary for customs processing. See Customs and Import Taxes.
