Within the Artlote project we implement a social, sustainability program, called ♻️ UPCYCLING
IT’S A CREATIVE TRANSFORMATION OF SOMETHING NO LONGER IN USE INTO ART OBJECTS.
Unlike recycling, it does not require additional production costs for processing, which leads to co2 air pollution.
We upcycle various discarded items, into pieces of furniture, lamps and decor.. By creating a new utilitarian object, we give it a new practical meaning. From a vintage street horn, a headlight from a 1960s Japanese motorcycle, or an old Catalan forestry saw found at craft fairs, abandoned houses, or simply in a junkyard, we create stylish home lamps. As for furniture, we can take a Baroque chair and transform it into pop art, or, conversely, transform a modern piece into a paragon of elegance and neoclassical style..
We do not throw glass bottles away. Over time, they age and get their own unique patina. They are beautiful and can be used for decoration.
ABSOLUTELY! WE SUPPORT THE IDEA OF NOT CONSUMING A LOT, BUT UPCYCLING WHAT ALREADY EXISTS.
We also recycle and restore selected pieces of original furniture and lighting.
We give new life to old stuff.
