Materials: Made from hand-spun wool, using natural dyes plants, roots, and minerals, giving it a deep, rich color palette.
Weaving Technique: A flat-weave kilim, featuring a slit-weave technique that creates crisp, sharp geometric patterns, tight weave of a high-quality wool.
Design & Motifs: Known for their bold geometric patterns, such as stepped diamonds, zigzags, and stylized floral motifs, in deep reds and brown. These designs carry tribal symbolism, representing nature, protection, and life’s journey.
Durability & Use: This piece is not extremely durable. Traditionally used as tent dividers, or blankets.
This kilim is sought after for their tribal authenticity, warmth, and rich history, making it perfect for collectors or those who appreciate the beauty of nomadic craftsmanship.
